"A Guide To Lifting Re-Entry Vehicles, Volume 1," working title.

This in-progress book will cover manned an unmanned lifting entry vehicles (ie. spaceplanes), built and unbuilt. This book is aimed more towards the enthusiast and model maker than the historian. Volume 1 will cover spaceplanes smaller than Shuttle/Buran. Volume 2, if there is such, will cover Shuttle sized craft (including a rather vast number of Shuttle designs) and larger. Right now Volume 1 loks like it will be a very sizable book. It may be broken into Volume 1, Part 1 and Volume 1, Part 2 if it becomes to unweildy. Stay tuned for updates.

Included below is a list of most of the designs going into the book. If you know of a program that should be included, feel free to contact me by e-mail (lexcorp@ix.netcom.com). Included below are several links to thumbnail images of the relevant topics. Please note that these thumbnail images are not complete, but merely reflect what was on hand at one point in the image scanning process. Also, be aware that many of the images shown will NOT appear in the book; several are copywritten and would be impractical to get licensing for (and will therefore be redrawn); others are low quality and will be re-drawn; and many images are multiple parts of the same drawing, and have not yet been digitally stitched together. The names of the individual image files are often relevant to what the image is of, and often are just gibberish.

IMPORTANT: Several of the designs listed below have appeared in the pages of Aerospace Projects Review. ALL back issues are available for sale. See the APR page for info on the current issue, past issues and subscribing (now taking PayPal).
