Sometime in the late 70’s or early 80’s, Bell designed a small tiltrotor for the Marines named “Mighty Mouse.” It was a troop transport designed to be packed into small spaces, such as small ships. I’ve seen various bits of art, but so far no drawings or technical data. Any pointers would be appreciated…

  1. Are the bits of art you mentioned from the August 1989 ‘Wings’ article? If not, I can scan and send.

  2. Yup, “Wings” is where I first saw this, in badly pixelated black and white. I’ve still got the issue floating around here somewhere…

  3. I have a whole briefing on the mighty mouse, well a Bell slide show made from the original artwork, and I have some tech data on the transmission as well. Unfortunately they are stamped “Bell Proprietary” so I will have to see if I can get permission for you to have them.

  4. I would of course be very interested in seeing whatever you might have on this!
